Roll Call <br />PRESENT: Members Galvan, Glaze, Loeffler, Lothrop, Polvorosa, Young; <br />Mayor Corbett <br />ABSENT: Council Member Glaze <br />2. PRESENTATIONS <br />A. Proclamation Designating April 1997 as Fair Housing Month. <br />Jacqui Diaz, CDBG Coordinator, accepted the Proclamation and said this <br />is the City's 23rd consecutive year to receive Community Development <br />Block Grant (CDBG) funds which help to support efforts toward Fair <br />Housing. <br />3. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />A. Matter of A-97-1; Reclassification; to Re-Zone from NA-2 North Area <br />District to RS(PD) Residential, Single-Family, Planned Development <br />District; and PD-97-1; Planned Development; to Construct Four Detached, <br />Single-Family Homes; 91 Durant Avenue; Assessor's Parcel Number 76-271- <br />19; Developer: Lynn Worthington, Durant Park Development, Ltd., <br />Liability Company; NA-2 North Area District. (1099/1009) <br />This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above <br />matter, Assistant Planner Elmer Penaranda reviewed the site and proposed <br />project. He said a reclassification and rezone will allow the <br />development to occur. A site plan of the single-family homes was shown, <br />including landscaping and pavement treatments. Both the Planning <br />Commission and staff recommend City Council adoption of the Ordinance <br />and Motion. A video of the site was viewed. <br />
