IN THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION N0.2009-020 RDA (3022) RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO APPROVING THE RECEIPT OF PERSONAL PROPERTY FROM THE SAN LEANDRO AUTO MALL DEALERS ASSOCIATION AND TERMINATION OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency ("Agency") entered into a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") dated May 17, 2004, with the San Leandro Auto Mall Dealers Association ("SLAMDA") for the installation, construction and maintenance of signs to further the goals and Implementation Plan of the Joint Redevelopment Project Area (JPA) and to market the dealerships within the JPA to improve their sales, thereby benefitting the Agency and the City of San Leandro. WHEREAS, SLAMDA and the Agency desire that the Agency take ownership of the signs without charge, free and clear of any liens or restrictions and maintain the signs. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Redevelopment Agency Board of the City of San Leandro as follows: Section 1: That the Agency Board approves the transfer of the signs to the Agency such that Agency shall take ownership of the signs from SLAMDA, free of any charge, lien or restriction. Section 2: The Agency Board hereby approves the termination of the Memorandum of Understanding dated May 17, 2004. Section 3: The Agency Executive Director is hereby authorized and directed to execute all documents necessary to make the transfer complete and termination of the MOU effective.
