PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG <br /> 3. ROLL CALL <br /> PRESENT: Council Members Galvan, Glaze, Lothrop, Polvorosa, Young; <br /> Mayor Corbett <br /> ABSENT /EXCUSED: Council Member Loeffler <br /> 4. PRESENTATIONS <br /> A. Mike Oliver, City Manager, introduced David Sams, the new Golf Course <br /> supervisor. Mayor Corbett welcomed Mr. Sams on behalf of the City <br /> Council. Mr. Sams said he is excited about the opportunity to be part <br /> of the golfing community in San Leandro and is looking forward to <br /> working with the community, staff, and the Council. <br /> 5. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> Public Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person. The public is invited <br /> to make any comments related to Agenda items (including San Leandro <br /> Redevelopment Agency, San Leandro Parking Authority, and San Leandro <br /> Industrial Development Authority) or other items of public interest at this <br /> time. Comments regarding Public Hearing items will be heard during the <br /> Public Hearing portion of the Agenda. <br /> A. Al Rosenga, 534 Parrott Street, said he was a member of the Seismic <br /> Task Force. He advised caution in upgrading the library and said the <br /> seismic upgrading was included in an $18 million package along with <br /> City Hall. He said other things will have to have separate funding. <br /> B. Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, requested that New Business Item <br /> C be removed from the agenda. He spoke regarding a document he had <br /> written regarding the Leadership San Leandro Program and submitted the <br /> document to the City Council. He provided a breakdown of voters in the <br />
