IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> • <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 99 - 020 (1076) <br /> • <br /> AN URGENCY ORDINANCE REPEALING ARTICLE 11 <br /> AND ADDING ARTICLE 11 TO CHAPTER 5 <br /> OF TITLE VII OF THE SAN LEANDRO MUNICIPAL CODE, <br /> ADOPTING BY REFERENCE ENFORCEMENT AND ABATEMENT <br /> PROCEDURE - ADMINISTRATIVE, AS AMENDED, <br /> AND MAKING THIS MATTER AN URGENCY MEASURE TO TAKE <br /> EFFECT JULY 1, 1999, PURSUANT TO SECTION 1-1-345 (f) and (b) OF <br /> THE SAN LEANDRO MUNICIPAL CODE BECAUSE IT RELATES TO PARTICULAR <br /> PROVISIONS OF LAW PRESCRIBING THE MANNER OF ITS PASSAGE AND <br /> ADOPTION AND FOR THE IMMEDIATE PRESERVATION OF THE PUBLIC PEACE, <br /> HEALTH OR SAFETY <br /> The City Council of the City of San Leandro does ORDAIN as <br /> follows: <br /> Section 1. Article 11 of Chapter 5 of Title VII of the <br /> San Leandro Municipal Code is hereby repealed. <br /> Section 2. Article 11 is hereby added to Chapter 5 of <br /> Title VII of the San Leandro Municipal Code to read as follows: <br /> . "ARTICLE 11. ENFORCEMENT AND ABATEMENT PROCEDURE - <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE <br /> Section 7 -5 -1100: ENFORCEMENT. The City Manager is hereby <br /> designated and charged with the enforcement of all provisions of <br /> this Chapter. <br /> The City Manager shall designate a Building Official within <br /> the Development Services Department and appoint such number of <br /> officials, inspectors, assistants, and other employees as shall <br /> be authorized from time to time. He or she may deputize such <br /> employees as may be necessary to carry out the functions of the <br /> Building Regulations Division. <br /> The Building Official shall keep a permanent, accurate <br /> account of all fees and other monies collected and reviewed under <br /> this Code, the names of the person upon whose account the same <br /> were paid, the date and amount thereof and the location of the <br /> building or premises to which they relate. <br /> 1 <br />
