It is recommended that the <br />Agency first conduct a work session for review and input on September 13, 2010. Subsequently, a <br />week after on September 20, 2010 the Agency is scheduled to conduct a public hearing to consider <br />the adoption of the 2010 -2014 Implementation Plan. <br />BACKGROUND <br />Analysis <br />State law requires all redevelopment agencies to adopt five -year implementation plans covering the <br />goals and objectives in every project area for both housing and non - housing activities. The current <br />cycle of plans must be in place by December 31, 2010 and discusses fiscal years 2009 -10 through <br />2013 -14. Staff has prepared one plan covering all three of the San Leandro Redevelopment <br />Agency's project areas and affordable housing. <br />The Redevelopment Agency completed many projects included in the 2004 -09 Implementation Plan. <br />Some of the major accomplishments follow: <br />Plaza: Creekside Office Plaza, Toscani Place, West Estudillo Pedestiran Connection, <br />Art & History Museum, History Walk, Downtown Pedestrian & Lighting <br />Improvements, Downtown San Leandro Marketing Campaign, Town Hall <br />Square Property Acquisition, 1040 Davis Street (Former Fire Station) <br />Joint: Undergrounding of Utilities on East 14th Street, Acquisition of former <br />Albertson site for future development, Farmers' Market, Senior Community <br />
