On September 13, 2010, the
Agency conducted a work session for review and input on the Draft Implementation Plan. The current cycle
of plans must be in place by December 31, 2010 and discusses fiscal years 2009 -10 through 2013-
14. The 2010 -2014 Implementation Plan (Plan) covers all three of the San Leandro Redevelopment
Agency's project areas and affordable housing.
The Plan contains projects and programs to enhance the City's image, support local businesses,
prevent blight and improve the quality of life. Some projects identified in this Plan include the
implementation of the Downtown Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Strategy, development of
San Leandro Crossings, EBMUD, Albertsons, Town Hall Square, and Kaiser Permanente's retail
site, and preparation of a Specific Plan for Marina Boulevard. As recommended by the Agency at
last week's work session, the Plan was revised to include the facilitation of technology infrastructure
enhancements, such as high -speed internet services to underserved business districts.
