IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -009 <br /> RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO THE CHRISP <br /> COMPANY FOR THE EAST 14 STREET STRIPING AND PEDESTRIAN <br /> IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT NO. 09- 120 -38 -244 <br /> Recitals <br /> The City of San Leandro did, on September 23, 2010, publicly open, examine and declare <br /> all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2010 -115 of the <br /> Council of said City adopted on September 7, 2010, which resolution is hereby expressly <br /> referred to for a description of said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under <br /> said resolution. <br /> Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br /> found that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said work. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br /> mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsive <br /> bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsive bidder <br /> therefore, to wit the Chrisp Company, at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office of the <br /> City Clerk. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Souza and passed and adopted this 18th day of January, <br /> 2011, by the following called vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza.
