Budget Updates <br /> a) San Leandro Unified School District <br /> Superintendent Cathey stated that the governor's budget announcement indicates that the <br /> schools are protected from mid -year cuts this year although more cuts are mentioned. She <br /> stated that the budget is based on the voters passing the extension of taxes we are currently <br /> paying. <br /> Board President Katz - Lacabe stated that previous budget adjustments may still impact the <br /> student/teacher ratio. <br /> Superintendent Cathey added that the District's website has updated budget information, <br /> including reductions planned for 2011-2012 school year. <br />
