CALL TO ORDER <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:08 p.m. <br /> A. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG <br /> Deputy City Manager Jacqui Diaz led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> B. ROLL CALL <br /> PRESENT: Members Cutter, Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak; <br /> Mayor Cassidy <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> C. ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> Mayor Cassidy announced that Item 10.C., Presentation and Direction on Private Sewer <br /> Laterals, would be continued to the June 20 regular City Council meeting. <br /> Mayor Cassidy announced that in the closed session held earlier this evening. with all <br /> members present, the City Council unanimously agreed to appoint Assistant City <br /> Manager Lianne Marshall to serve as the Interim City Manager, pending the completion <br /> of a new recruitment and selection process for the permanent City Manager position. <br /> The City Attorney will prepare an employment agreement between the City and Ms. <br /> Marshall for consideration by the City Council. <br /> Additionally, the City Council unanimously agreed to retain a professional personnel <br /> recruitment/search firm to conduct a recruitment for qualified candidates for the <br /> permanent City Manager position. <br />
