Discussion Regarding Appointment of Committee Chair <br /> Committee members agreed unanimously that Councilmember Santos would continue as the <br /> Committee Chair. <br /> 2. Continued Discussion Regarding Citizen Appointments to Research Groups, <br /> Committees and Forums <br /> City Manager John Jermanis reviewed that the Committee had asked staff to draft guidelines <br /> regarding citizen appointments to the various study groups and committees regarding airport <br /> issues. Community Relations Representative Kathy Omelas outlined the guidelines that had <br /> been drafted, explaining that they were modeled after the City Council's procedures for <br /> appointing Board and Commission members. The Committee suggested some revisions and <br /> asked that the guidelines be brought back to the July meeting for further discussion. <br /> Committee Recommendations <br /> None <br />
