Kell- Smith and Associates, Carla Kell- Smith, Vince Mestre, Roshan Silva- Mistry Public present: Wafaa Aborashed, Francois Gallo, John Manuel, Dennis Rosucci The meeting was called to order at 10:05 a.m. 1. Discussion Regarding Appointments of Community Representatives to the Oakland Airport Plaster Plan Stakeholder Committee The Port of Oakland has invited the City to have one City staff member and two community members participate in the Airport Master Plan Stakeholder Committee. Committeemembers discussed a process to appoint the two community members. They asked that the Port delay its first meeting until San Leandro's representatives have been appointed. At the City Manager's recommendation, Community Relations Representative Kathy Ornelas will be the primary staff participant, with Planning Manager Debbie Pollart acting as an alternate. Committee Recommendation Begin public announcement to select two community representatives to serve on the Port of Oakland's Airport Master Plan Stakeholder Committee. The Airport Committee will interview interested individuals and recommend appointment by City Council. 2. Update on Airport Noise Insulation Program C. Kell -Smith and Associates gave an update on the Airport Noise Insulation Program (ANIP). A public announcement of the program will be done in May with the first of two public information meetings to be held in June.
