The proposed cleanup legislation will allow the City and County redevelopment <br />agencies to continue to exercise redevelopment powers in their respective portions of the project <br />area should the other entity's redevelopment agency dissolve. <br />X " Iff-1111017 <br />Analysis <br />In 1993 the County of Alameda -City of San Leandro Redevelopment Plan was adopted forming <br />the County of Alameda -City of San Leandro (Joint) Redevelopment Project Area which includes <br />properties within the City of San Leandro and properties in the unincorporated portion of <br />Alameda County. A Fiscal Agreement regarding how tax increment revenue would be split as <br />well as a Memorandum of Understanding regarding administration of the project area activities <br />were also adopted by the City and County in 1993. These three documents outline the rights, <br />operating agreements and responsibilities of both agencies. <br />The Joint Project Area is unique in the state as there are no other Redevelopment Project Areas <br />with this organizational structure. Impacts of AB x1 26/27 on the Joint Project Area were <br />therefore not contemplated as part of the legislation, and cleanup language for non - controversial <br />
