REGULAR MEETING -- Community Library Center, Lecture Hall <br /> 300 Estudillo Avenue <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG <br /> 3. ROLL CALL <br /> PRESENT: Council Members Galvan, Kerr, Loeffler, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Mayor Corbett <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> 4. PRESENTATIONS <br /> A. Proclamation Declaring March 7, 1995, Andy Marcoux Day in San Leandro. <br /> Mayor Corbett said this evening was a special event honoring a Home <br /> Town Hero, Andy Marcoux. She said it is good to recognize one of those <br /> people who make our community safe, and to acknowledge the <br /> contributions of his family. She read the Proclamation describing <br /> Officer Marcoux's heroic action during a shooting incident in which he <br /> was wounded and thanked him for his service to the community. Officer <br /> Marcoux thanked the City Council and Mayor and introduced his wife, <br /> Elizabeth, and his children, Christopher, Caroline, and Maureen, and <br /> thanked his family for standing by him. <br />
