REGULAR MEETING -- Community Library Center, Lecture Hall <br /> 300 Estudillo Avenue <br /> 1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG <br /> 3. ROLL CALL <br /> PRESENT: Council Members Galvan, Kerr, Loeffler, Myers, Perry; <br /> Mayor Corbett <br /> ABSENT: Council Member Polvorosa <br /> 4. PRESENTATIONS <br /> A. Presentation of Award Honoring Excellence in Communication from <br /> the California Association of Public Information Officials for the <br /> City's Seismic Retrofitting Program. <br /> Kathy Ornelas, Community Relations Representative, presented the Award. <br /> William Schock, Chief Building Official , accepted the Award on behalf <br /> of the Development Services Department and said the City's program has <br /> been highly successful and is being used by other cities. He thanked <br /> Kathy Ornelas for her work in putting the application together. <br /> B. Presentation Regarding the Opening of a Farmers' Market at the <br /> Community Library Center on June 4, 1995. <br /> Doug Hayden, President of the California Farmers' Market Association, <br /> said it is a privilege to bring this Market to San Leandro and thanked <br /> staff for their work in making this possible. <br />
