MINUTES • SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL MEETING JUNE 12, 1995 7:00 P.M. SPECIAL MEETING - Community Library Center Lecture Hall 300 Estudillo Avenue San Leandro, California 1. CALL TO ORDER 2. ROLL CALL PRESENT: Council Members Galvan, Kerr, Loeffler, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; Mayor Corbett ABSENT: None 3. PUBLIC COMMENTS Public Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person. The public is invited to make any comments related to Agenda items or other items of public interest at this time. Comments regarding Public Hearing items will be heard during the Public Hearing portion of the Agenda. A. Martin Francis, 964 Dowling Boulevard, requested that the City Council approve the display of the American, California, and San Leandro flags from the railing in the lobby of the north wing of City Hall . The City Council concurred that the display of flags is important and directed staff to work with Mr. Francis regarding locations. 4. PUBLIC HEARINGS A. Matter of Proposed Increases in Fees and Charges for Services Provided by City Departments, Fees and Charges for Sewer Service, Fees and Charges for Services Provided by the Building Regulations Division of the Development Services Department, and Development Fees for Street Improvements Schedule. This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, John Jermanis, Finance Director, gave the staff report. He provided the City Council with three additional pages for the Marina Community Center fees which had been left out of the Resolution. He said the City Council was already familiar with the information in these pages and it had already been made public over the last several months. He said the fee review process began in February with City Council Finance Committee meetings and continued over several months. He reviewed the highlights of the proposed fee adjustments and said no written or verbal comments had been received.
