MINUTES SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL MEETING MAY 9, 1994 The City Council of the City of San Leandro met in an Adjourned Session in the City Council Chambers of the City Hall on the above date, immediately following a 7:00 p.m. Work Session, Mayor Corbett presiding. 1. CALL TO ORDER 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG 3. ROLL CALL PRESENT: Council Members Galvan, Kerr, Loeffler, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; Mayor Corbett ABSENT: None 4. PUBLIC COMMENTS Public Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person. A. Mr. Grigsby, noted the City Council would be voting on how the City's representative should vote on the Highway 238 matter. He said he is Treasurer for Hayward Citizens for 238 and is also a union representative. He said the Hayward Citizens for 238 placed Measure• L on the ballot, and he does not feel the City Council of San Leandro should vote against it since the Hayward citizens voted in favor of it at a general election. He said San Leandro has an obligation to support the people of Hayward. B. Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, referred to page 23 of the Agenda packet and said any local funding on the project should be required to go before. the voters for approval . 5. NEW BUSINESS A. Matter of the Alameda County Congestion Management Agency County-Wide Transportation Plan ("Transportation Vision 2010 and Beyond") . Minute Order No. 94-23, Matter of the Alameda County Congestion Management Agency County-Wide Transportation Plan ("Transportation Vision 2010 and Beyond") . (2465) On motion by Council Member Kerr, who moved its approval , seconded by Council Member Polvorosa, and carried by the following called vote, the City Council directed Council Member Kerr to vote to support and approve the Alameda County Congestion Management Agency County-Wide Transportation Plan ("Transportation Vision 2010 and Beyond") . AYES: Council Members Galvan, Kerr, Loeffler, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; Mayor Corbett ( 7 ) NOES: None ( 0 ) ABSENT: None ( 0 )
