• • <br /> AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> AND THE ALAMEDA COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> REGARDING <br /> CIVILIAN SAN LEANDRO FIRE DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEE <br /> This agreement is dated for identification this 1st day of July , 1995 and is <br /> entered into between the City of San Leandro, a municipal corporation ("CITY") and <br /> the Alameda County Fire Department ("ACFD"). <br /> Recitals <br /> A. City currently provides fire suppression, emergency medical response and <br /> related services ("fire services") to the residents of the City through the San Leandro <br /> Fire Department. <br /> B. City currently employs one employee in the City classification of <br /> Administrative Secretary in the Fire Department All references herein to "Fire <br /> Employee" shall mean the employee of the City in that classification on the date <br /> preceding the effective date of the Master Agreement who will become an employee <br /> of the ACFD on such date. <br /> C. City and ACFD are parties to an agreement entitled "Fire Protection and <br /> Emergency Medical Services Agreement" (the "Master Agreement") entered into on <br /> July 1 , 1995. <br /> D Pursuant to the Master Agreement, Department shall provide fire services to <br /> residents of City commencing on July 1 , 1995 (the "effective date") and ACFD shall <br /> offer employment to fire employee as of said date. ACFD's agreement to provide fire <br /> services and to employ the fire employee may be referenced as "consolidation". <br /> E. City classification of Administrative Secretary is equivalent to ACFD <br /> classification of Fire Department Secretary II,an unrepresented ACFD classification. <br /> F. City and the San Leandro City Employees'Association ("SLCEA") are party to <br /> a memorandum of understanding for the period July 1, 1993 through June 30, 1995. <br /> G. The purpose of this agreement is to set forth the terms and conditions of <br /> employment which shall be provided to Fire Department Secretary II following <br /> consolidation. <br /> Agreement <br /> Section 1: Recitals <br /> The foregoing Recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein. <br /> 1 <br />
