I AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO, THE ALAMEDA COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND THE SAN LEANDRO MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION This agreement is dated for identification this 1st day of July 1995, is entered (� into between the City of San Leandro, a municipal corporation ("City"), the Alameda County Fire Department("ACFD"), and the San Leandro Management Organization, an unincorporated association ("SLMO"). Recitals A. City currently provides fire suppression, emergency medical response and related services ("fire services") to the residents of the City of San Leandro, through the San Leandro Fire Department. B. City currently employs three employees in the classifications of Deputy Fire Chief and Battalion Chief. All references herein to "Fire Employees" shall mean those employees of the City in such classifications on the date preceding the effective date of the Master Agreement who become employees of the ACFD on such date. C. City has recognized the SLMO as the recognized employee association for the Fire Employees. City and SLMO are parties to a Memorandum of Understanding ("City MOU"). D. City and ACFD are parties to an agreement entitled "Fire Protection and Emergency Medical Services Agreement" ("Master Agreement") entered into on July 1, 1995. E. Pursuant to the Master Agreement, ACFD shall provide fire services to residents of City commencing on July 1, 1995 ("effective date"), and ACFD shall offer employment to Fire Employees as of said date. ACFD's agreement to provide fire services and to employ the Fire Employees may be referenced as the "consolidation." F. ACFD is party to a memorandum of understanding with Alameda County Firefighter's Association, Local 1428 (Management), for the period January 1, 1994 through December 31, 1995 ("County MOU"). G. City and SLMO have met and conferred in good faith regarding the consolidation. It is understood that this agreement represents the full, complete and final understanding of the City and SLMO on all matters relating to the consolidation which fall within the scope of representation. 1
