IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2015-011 <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 6.4.100 OF THE SAN LEANDRO <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE CODE TO INCREASE THE SUBPOENA FEE FOR <br /> PERSONAL APPEARANCE OF CITY EMPLOYEES FROM $150 TO $275 TO <br /> CONFORM WITH A CHANGE TO STATE LAW <br /> WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 68096.1 requires the party <br /> subpoenaing a local agency employee to tender a fee with the subpoena to the local agency; and <br /> WHEREAS, Assembly Bill 2727 amended California Government Code Section 68096.1 <br /> to increase the subpoena fee of local agency employees from $150 to $275 for each day that the <br /> employee is required to be in attendance at the proceeding pursuant to the subpoena. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. That Title 6, Chapter 4, Section 6.4.100 of the San Leandro Administrative Code <br /> ("Fee Schedule")is hereby amended to increase the subpoena fee for personal appearance of City <br /> employees, as follows (shown in bold and italics): <br /> CITYWIDE <br /> 3. Subpoena Fees <br /> A. Records $15.00 <br /> B. Personal appearance of City Employees X50.00$275.00 <br /> C. Personal appearance of Police Officers $275.00 <br /> 2.
