(SOS/Meals on Wheels) for $42,203; <br />and Eden Council for Hope and Opportunity Housing (ECHO Housing) for <br />$10,000 (approves 4 agreements totaling $108,937) <br />SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approve a resolution to enter into four (4) public <br />services grant agreements with the following service providers: <br />·Child Abuse Listening, Interviewing, and Coordination Center ($20,537); <br />·Davis Street Family Resource Center ($36,197); <br />·Service Opportunities for Seniors, Inc./Meals on Wheels ($42,203); <br />·Eden Council for Hope & Opportunity Housing for fair housing services ($10,000). <br />These CDBG projects were authorized by the City Council on June 19, 2017 in the Fiscal <br />Year 2017-2018 HUD Action Plan. <br />BACKGROUND <br />For FY 2017-2018, the four agreements totaling $108,937 require City Council approval. <br />Three of the agreements are part of the CDBG public services budget (see below), while the <br />ECHO Fair Housing Counseling Agreement is funded under the CDBG Administration budget <br />because fair housing is federally mandated and ECHO helps to fulfill the City’s fair housing <br />administrative requirements. All four projects have been approved by the City Council as part <br />of the FY 2017-2018 Action Plan.
