�� � <br />,h-ar�6 Ar �)Lf 5~� <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT <br />SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />AND <br />CHILD ABUSE LISTENING, INTERVIEWING AND COORDINATION CENTER (CALICO) <br />THIS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT AGREEMENT ("Agreement") is made at San Leandro, <br />California, amof July 1, 2018,bvandbehweentheC|TYOFSANLEANUR{}.aCa|ifonniauhadercitv("Chv")andChi|d <br />Abuse Listening, Interviewing and Coordination Center (CALICO), a California non-profit corporation (�SubnecipienC'). <br />Data Universal Number System Number (UUNS):D193797E4. <br />A. The City has entered into various funding agreements with the United States Department of Housing <br />and Urban Development ("HUDl, which agreements provide funds ("CDBG Funds") to the City under the Federal <br />Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 (42 USC Sections 5301 sdaeq.). as amended from time totime <br />(the "Act"), and the regulations promulgated thereunder 24 CFR Sections 57Oetseq. ("Regulations"). The Federal <br />award date of the C[}BG Funds provided subject to this Agreement is May 1, 2018. The Federal /ward Number <br />("FAIN") for the CDBG Funds provided subject to this Agreement is MC -06-0017. The Catalog ofFederal Domestic <br />Assistance (''CFOA^) for the CDBGFunds provided subject tothis Agreement io14.218. <br />B. The Act provides that the City may grant mloan the CDBG funds tononprofit organizations for certain <br />purposes allowed under the Act. <br />C. The Subrecipient proposes to provide various services to low/moderate income persons as set forth <br />in Exhibit A (Scope of Work). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br />1.0 TERM OF AGREEMENT. Unless earlier terminated inaccordance with Section 8/4ofthis Agreement, <br />this Agreement shall continue in force and effect until June 30, 2019. <br />21 Use ofCDIBG Funds. Gubrecpienthereby agrees touse the CDBGfunds provided hoSubreooient <br />solely for the project punauanttoaUofthehannaandoondbicmanfthiaAormement.Thep jeotismonepodicu|odveet <br />forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. The COBG funds shall be used solely to <br />reimburse the actual expenses incurred bySubmaoipientfor the project asaetfodhinthe"Budge[attochedhen*tnes <br />Exhibit "B"and incorporated herein byreference. Agreement Officer may approve minor changes tothe budget that <br />do not exceed the maximum amount inparagraph 3.1 ofthis Agreement. <br />2.2 Representation and Warranties. Subrecoientherebv represents and warrants tothe City as <br />a. Subrecipient has read and is familiar with all of the terms and provisions of the Act and the <br />Regulations applicable to Subrecipient. <br />Subrecpient is a nonprofit organization permitted to receive CDBG funds under the Act and <br />the Regulations. <br />C. The use ofthe facility, the project, and the expenses tobereimbursed bvthe CDBGfunds, es <br />described in the budget, are permitted uses of CDBG funds under the Act and the Regulations. <br />2.3 Compliance with Law. 8ubrecipient shall perform the project and operate the facility in mucmn]onm* <br />with all ondinanoea, resolutions, statutea, rules, and Regulations of the City and any Federal, State or local <br />governmental agency having jurisdiction in effect mtthe time service is rendmnad, induding, but not limited to the Act <br />and the Regulations.
