Memorandum of Understanding Page 1 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />SPECTRUM COMMUNITY SERVICES, INC. <br />AND <br />CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> <br />July 1, 2020 - June 30, 2021 <br /> <br />Spectrum Fall Prevention Program <br /> "EnhanceWellness" and Virtual Group Exercise <br /> <br />This Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") is meant to clarify and define the <br />responsibilities and working partnership between the City of San Leandro ("City") and <br />Spectrum Community Services, Inc. ("Spectrum") regarding the Spectrum Fall <br />Prevention Program for seniors provided by Spectrum in partnership with the City of <br />San Leandro. Spectrum staff provides people 60 years of age, or older, wellness <br />coaching, education on fall prevention, socialization, and exercise classes that promote <br />strength, balance and overall fitness. Due to COVID-19, in-person exercise classes and <br />wellness coaching are not permitted, however, Spectrum is providing fall prevention <br />activities virtually until restrictions are lifted. Should in-person gatherings be allowed <br />before the end of FY 20-21, revisions to this MOU can be made as needed.
