IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 97 - 61 (2318) <br />RESOLUTION ADDING TITLE 32, CHAPTER 1 <br />TO THE SAN LEANDRO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE <br />REGULATION OF PROFESSIONAL FILMING AND VIDEOTAPING ACTIVITIES <br />The City Council of the City of San Leandro does hereby resolve as follows: <br />That Title 32, Chapter 1 is hereby added to the San Leandro Administrative Code to read <br />as follows: <br />TITLE 32: Regulation of Professional Filming and Videotaping Activities. <br />32.1.100: Permit Required. All persons who engage in <br />professional filming within the City of San Leandro shall be <br />required to obtain a permit, except where the professional filming <br />involved is for news gathering purposes. <br />32.1.200: Application. All persons seeking a permit for <br />professional filming must submit an application to the Film <br />Liaison on the forms provided by the City. <br />32.1.300: Fees. Unless exempt pursuant to Section 32.1.400, all <br />persons shall pay a non-refundable application fee. The amount of <br />this application fee shall be as set forth in San Leandro <br />Administrative Code. All applicants granted a permit shall also <br />pay a permit fee as set forth in the San Leandro Administrative <br />Code prior to issuance of the permit. <br />32.1.400: Fee Exemptions. The following persons are exempt <br />from the application fee requirement in Section 32.1.300: bona fide <br />students, non-profit corporations, and persons engaging in public <br />service filming. Notwithstanding this Section, all persons exempt <br />from the application fee are required to obtain a permit and to pay <br />any and all other required fees, rates or charges. <br />
