If, however, it is <br />done under the auspices of a non-profit entity, there would be no fee for a solicitation permit. <br />Mr. J ermanis stated that he would ask the Finance Department to contact Ms. Hammonds to <br />make these arrangements prior to her commencing her program promotion. <br /> <br />Mr. Jermanis commented that staff has had many discussions with Mr. Filipovich regarding <br />the City Council agenda, and the City Attorney has reviewed this matter on several occasions. <br />He noted that the agenda is available in many different formats and posted in various <br />locations throughout the City. <br /> <br />Mr. Jermanis acknowledged the work of Public Works in maintaining the storm drains. He <br />noted that the City did not encounter the flooding problems in the recent storms that other <br />cities had experienced. <br /> <br />7. AMENDMENT OF CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />City Councilmembers or staff have an opportunity at this time to request that an item be <br />removed from the Consent Calendar for the presentation of a staff report or other special <br />consideration. Members of the Public may request, by filing a speaker card prior to the <br />calling of Item 7, Amendment of Consent Calendar, the opportunity to address the City <br />Council regarding items remaining on the Consent Calendar. Items remaining on the Consent <br />Calendar will be considered for approval under one motion. <br /> <br />Mayor Young requested that a staff report be added to the Consent Calendar as Item 8.e. <br />regarding the steps taken to date on the medical marijuana moratorium. She noted that copies <br />of the staff report are available for review by the public in the Council Chamber lobby. <br /> <br />Regarding Item 8.B., Councilmember Grant asked if there would be a process to fill the <br />vacancies on the RAe. Mr. Jermanis outlined the process. <br /> <br />Consent Calendar was amended to add Item 8.C. <br /> <br />8. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />Consent Calendar items are considered for approval by the City Council with one single <br />action. As described above in Item 7, Amendment of Consent Calendar, the City Council <br />may remove items from the Consent Calendar for purposes of presentation or discussion. <br />Members of the public who have requested to address the Council regarding items remaining <br />on the Consent Calendar may do so for up to 3 minutes each to a maximum of 5 minutes for <br />all items. Items listed on the Consent Calendar are deemed to have been read by title. <br /> <br />Item 8.C. was added to the Consent Calendar. The items on the Consent Calendar were <br />approved by the following vote: <br /> <br />M/S/C Grant and Santos. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br />
