JOINT CITY COUNCIL/SAN LEANDRO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY PUBLIC
HEARINGS

None.

5. PUBLIC COMMENTS

Public Comments are limited to 3 minutes per speaker, subject to adjustment by the Mayor.
When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it to the
City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names and
addresses obtained. The public is invited to make comments on items of public interest NOT
listed on the Agenda.

Mayor Young noted that it was 10:00 p.m., and the Council has a general policy of not
addressing any new items after 10:00 p.m. Due to the late hour and the number of speakers
wishing to address the Council, Mayor Young limited the time for each speaker to 1 minute.

Christopher Malloy, Heron Bay Homeowners Association, addressed the City Council,
thanking the audience members who attended tonight's meeting expecting to hear discussion
of a resolution opposing the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) Bayside
Groundwater Project.

Dan Henriques, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council, asking about the
advantage versus the disadvantage ofthe EBMUD project.

Mary Cedarholm, San Lorenzo resident, addressed the City Council, expressing opposition
to the EBMUD project and asking the Council to pass a resolution to stop the project and
direct the City Attorney to investigate the information provided to residents by EBMUD.
