Business Development Committee Meeting of May 19, 2005. Accepted as <br />submitted. <br /> <br />Recommendation for City Council Consideration: <br />a. Schedule for City Council consideration review guidelines that can be used <br />to assess future commercial and industrial condominium conversions. <br /> <br />By consensus, the City Council approved this recommendation. <br /> <br />b. Schedule for Redevelopment Agency consideration an Exclusive Right to <br />Negotiate Agreement with The Olson Company for the Town Hall Square <br />development site for the meeting of June 20, 2005. <br /> <br />By consensus, the City Council approved this recommendation. <br /> <br />2. Finance Committee Meeting of May 18, 2005. Accepted as submitted. <br /> <br />3. Human Relations Committee Meeting of May 19, 2005. Accepted as submitted. <br /> <br />4. Rules and Communications Committee Meeting of May 17, 2005. Accepted as <br />submitted. <br /> <br />Recommendation for City Council Consideration: <br /> <br />a. Schedule for City Council consideration an ordinance changing the City's <br />General Municipal Election to June of even-numbered years. <br /> <br />By consensus, the City Council approved this recommendation. <br /> <br />12. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmember N ardine commented regarding the new development in the Bally's parking <br />lot. She acknowledged receiving a report from the City Manager; however, she stated that <br />was not her intention. Rather, she hoped the Council could have a discussion regarding the <br />9,000 square foot development proposed for the Bally's property. It was the consensus of the <br />Council to schedule discussion of the matter at a meeting in July. <br /> <br />Councilmember Nardine commented on the letter received from Kerry & Associates <br />regarding the trash problem at the Tequila Grill and the purported deficiencies in the City's <br />trash ordinance. Councilmember Nardine requested a staff report on the Tequila Grill matter <br />and what is being done regarding enforcement ofthe trash ordinance. <br />Councilmember Nardine commented on the recent Human Relations Committee meeting. <br />She stated that it was the Committee's understanding that it would be receiving a written <br />request to participate in a Sister City visit. <br />
