Report on Closed Session Actions Taken <br /> <br />Mayor Young reported on the closed session held earlier this evening. The Council <br />reviewed the performance of City Manager John Jermanis and gave him a very positive <br />performance evaluation. The City Council recommended by a vote of 6-0 <br />(Councilmember Grant was absent) the adoption of a 2-year contract for the City <br />Manager through June 30, 2007 with a salary review after January 2006, and no change <br />in compensation, benefits, termination provision or severance provision. <br /> <br />Additionally, the Council publicly applauded the Mr. J ermanis for taking the same <br />stance that he asked the City employees to take. Mayor Young thanked the employee <br />groups for holding the line on cost of living increases in recognition of the City's <br />serious budget problems this year. <br /> <br />11.
