CITY COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> <br /> <br />A.Reports on Intergovernmental Agencies <br /> <br />Councilmember Santos reported on the recent Association of Bay Area Governments <br />(ABAG) Conference in San Francisco on April 20. He commented that he attended a <br />panel discussion on emergency preparedness on which Mayor Young participated, and <br />the ABAG annual budget was adopted. <br /> <br /> <br />B.Reports on Conferences and Seminars <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant reported on the National Forum of Black Public Administrators <br />Conference in Fort Worth, Texas which she attended from April 7-11. She attended a <br />session on post-Hurricane Katrina emergency policies and participated on a panel <br />discussion entitled, “Can Java Jumpstart your Economic Development?” She thanked <br />staff for providing her with data for her presentation. <br /> <br /> <br />C.Reports on City Council Committees <br /> <br /> Accepted as <br />1.Business Development Committee Meeting of April 13, 2006. <br />submitted. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />12.
