MINUTES Page 8 City of San Leandro City COWlcil and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting-April 3, 2006 There was discussion regarding an email received by the Council from one of the CAC members regarding the Existing Conditions Report. Councilmember Santos asked what percentage of prior studies performed by the City has actually been implemented. Mr. Jermanis described the process by which studies are implemented and noted that implementation often evolves over an extended period of time. B. Report on Closed Session Actions Taken None. 11. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS A. Reports on Intergovernmental Agencies None. B. Reports on Conferences and Seminars None. C. Reports on City Council Committees 1. City and San Leandro Unified School District Liaison Committee Meeting of March 23,2006. Accepted as submitted. Councilmember Santos commented on the Update of San Leandro Unified School District School Site Options regarding the Scott Mechanical site. The document states, "The major constraint on this property is the ground water plume." Councilmember Santos commented that he understood the plume ends at the west side of the parking lot and does not extend into the Scott Mechanical building property. Mr. Jermanis stated that he will have staff verify this information. Councilmember Starosciak requested details on the after-school programs offered at Bancroft. 2. Facilities Committee Meeting of March 22, 2006. Accepted as amended. Councilmember Starosciak commented that during the meeting she had inquired about a traffic signal at Eden and Doolittle but did not see a reference in the meeting highlights.
