Attendees at the meeting included the following
Garden Terrace property owners: Jessica Tolstad, Virginia Eldridge, Mabel Lee,
David Eldridge, Kathy Goodall, Justin Taylor, Abdul Kargso (attending on behalf of
Melinda Jackson), and Lester Williams. City staff included Hanson Hom and Debbie
Pollart. Mr. Langon, the property owner and developer was also in attendance.

To date, the planning application has received a recommendation for approval
from the Planning Commission, and is anticipated to go before the City Council for
final review and action in September. The purpose of the meeting, as outlined by
Mr. Hom, was not to redesign the project, but to look at possible measures that Mr.
Langon could take to address concerns expressed by Garden Terrace property
owners over privacy, and property values.

Garden Terrace indicated a preference for 5 units, with one unit being dropped on
the south side of the property, which abuts Garden Terrace. Staff explained that
with a positive recommendation from the Planning Commission, the developer was
not required to redesign the project at this time in the process. Staff asked Garden
Terrace owners what could be done with the existing design to address privacy
concerns. The following table outlines the items discussed.
