Mrs. Holcomb suggested that trees be placed in the backyards to
cover the stucco buildings. I have a tree covering a window now on
Hays Street. I have taken many photos that I will be sending out
early next week to all the city council members and the planning
commission. I would like to invite each of you to my home so you can
see first hand what I have to loose as a single mother with two
children. I would like you to imagine what a stucco building facing my
living room will look like. I would like you to see how much sunlight
comes through our windows now. Should this project continue many
things will change for not only my family but every person living in our
building facing this property? I realize Mr. Langdon thinks building
this property will actually increase my property value. So once again
I invite you to come over to my home and make that judgment call for
yourself.

I spoke with Mr. Reed of the planning commission today. He was not
present at the meeting last week. I brought him up to date with some
of the issues The Garden Terrace homeowners have. He agreed that
Mr. Langdon could have been more active in the community as to
what his plans were with this lot and had more community input.

I want the council members to realize we are not against the
development of this lot. However, we would like Mr. Langdon to meet
with our HOA and others in the community so we can help resolve
some of the issues we have with the design of his proposal.

Thank you for you immediate attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Kathy Goodall
