Exclusive "Exclusive" means to bar from participation, consideration or inclusion unless prohibited <br />by law. <br />Franchise "Franchise" means the rights granted to the Contractor under the terms and conditions of <br />this Agreement <br />Franchise Area "Franchise Area" means the geographic area of the City where Franchise Services <br />are rendered. <br />Franchise Materials "Franchise Materials" means all Solid Waste, Recyclables and Green Waste <br />generated in the City, and included within the Franchise as specified herein. <br />Franchise Services "Franchise Services" means all of the duties and obligations of the Contractor <br />hereunder. <br />Fiscal Year "Fiscal Year" means July 1 -June 30 of each year. <br />Green Waste "Green Waste" means all tree and plant trimmings, grass cuttings, dead plants, weeds, <br />leaves, branches, and similar materials; provided, however, that larger items such as tree stumps and <br />intact dead trees are Bulky Waste. <br />Green Waste Processing Facility "Green Waste Processing Facility" means the composting <br />facility(ies) where Green Waste is disposed of, unless otherwise specified by the City which may, but <br />is not required to specify. <br />Hazardous Waste "Hazardous Waste" shall have the meaning set forth in California Code of <br />Regulations, Titie 14, Division 7, Chapter 3, Article 4, §17225.32 and Health and Safety Code §25117, <br />or successor laws and regulations as may be amended from time to time. <br />Holiday "Holiday" shall mean Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. <br />Household Hazardous Waste "Household Hazardous Waste" shall have the meaning set forth in <br />California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Division 7, Chapter 7, Article 1.1, §1$502, or successor laws <br />and regulations as may be amended from lime to time. <br />Medical and Infectious Waste "Medical and Infectious Waste" means biomedical waste generated <br />at hospitals, public or private medical clinics, dental offices, research laboratories, pharmaceutical <br />industries, blood banks, mortuaries, veterinary facilities, and other similar establishments. <br />Mobile Home Parks "Mobile Home Parks" means a site at which mobile home spaces are rented <br />and/or used for residential use. <br />r:~„~a~~a~,~~„~n;~wa.,.~pa o2rovoo Page S of 59 <br />
