ACZ, through its shareholders' affiliation with five operating companies is responsible <br />for commercial refuse and residential refuse, recyclables, and green waste collection services in <br />the cities of Pleasanton, South San Francisco, Millbrae, Brisbane, Sunnyvale, and Santa Clara as <br />well as refuse collection at San Francisco International Airport and Stanford University. The <br />combined service area includes roughly 122,000 residential and commercial customers and a total <br />population of approximately 328,500 people. Automated residential refuse collection services are <br />provided to several of these communities. In addition to collection services, three companies that <br />are wnanaged by ACI shareholders operate transfer stations, which combined manage oven 1,000 <br />tans per day of material, and conduct materials recovery activities. <br />ACI's shareholders have demonstrated experience acquiring existing companies and. starting new <br />camparaies_ Several ACI shareholders formed Bay Counties Waste Services, Inc. and Santa Clara <br />Valley Industries to acquire Specialty Solid Waste & Recycling and Mission Trail Waste Systems, <br />respectively. Louie Pellegrini, Jr. has successful experience starting up new companies including <br />Green Team of San Jose. <br />d]WNERSHIP OF ACI <br />ACI ownership is as shown in the attached Table 1. <br />~MAN~AGE~VIENT RESPONSIBILITLES OF SIAREHOLDERS AND KEY STAFF <br />Active Shareholders <br />ACI will actively involve four of the shareholders to fulfil its San Leandro franchise obligations. <br />The four active shareholders are Louie PeUegrini, 7r., Robert Molinaro, William Dabert, and <br />Douglas Burton. These individuals together bring more than 60 combined years of solid waste <br />industry experience to ACI and are active in the California Refuse Removal Council, ara <br />association of independently-owned garbage companies.
