These are <br />listed in the revised applicant statement in Attachment 1. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The Board of Zoning Adjustments and staff recommend that the City Council make a motion to <br />uphold the approval of the Major Site Plan ReviewNiew Preservation and Height Exception and <br />deny the appeal. This action would include adoption of the revised Conditions of Approval that <br />address issues raised by the neighbors regarding control of landscaping to mitigate view <br />blockage, limitations on construction activity, and reference to the revised plans for a slightly <br />smaller and lower main dwelling. The revised plans generally comply with the plans approved by <br />the BZA. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />· The subject property is 64,708 square feet (1.49 acres) in size and is located at the eastern <br />terminus of Darius Way, and is one of three undeveloped parcels within a 12-1ot subdivision <br />(the "Langon subdivision) approved in 1989. The surrounding properties within the City's <br />boundaries are zoned RS-VP, Residential Single-Family View Preservation Sub-District and <br />include single-family homes originally developed as part of Bay-O-Vista. The residential <br />single-family development to the south lies outside the City of San Leandro in an <br />unincorporated area of Alameda County. <br />
