<br />The established transitional plan will be initiated within six <br />months of its approval by the City and the ACFD. Any impacts to <br />other jurisdictions served by the ACFD as a result of the City's change <br />in service levels will take place in accordance with the impacted <br />jurisdiction's next established annual budget process and timelines. <br /> <br />C. ACFD San Leandro Joint Response area <br /> <br />ACFD shall respond to incidents as shown in the ACFD San <br />Leandro Joint Response Area Map attached as Exhibit 2. <br /> <br />D. Response Time <br /> <br />On a single unit incident, ACFD shall arrive at the scene of an <br />emergency incident within five (5) minutes or less from the time that <br />the company is first dispatched for 90% of all incidents. In multiple <br />unit incidents, the first due company shall arrive at the scene of an <br />emergency incident within five (5) minutes or less from the time that <br />the company is first dispatched for 90% of all such incidents. The <br />remaining units in the first alarm assignment shall arrive at the scene <br />of the incident within ten (10) minutes or less from the time that the <br />first due company is dispatched for 90% of all such incidents. <br /> <br />In the event that the Alameda County Fire Department is <br />unable to meet the established response time standards, the Fire <br />Chief and the City Manager shall confer regarding ACFD's ability to <br />meet the above-stated performance standards at their regularly <br />scheduled meeting. <br /> <br />At such time the City makes changes to service levels within <br />the City, existing response time standards will be evaluated and <br />validated in light of the new service levels. New response time <br />standards shall be developed and agreed to by the City and the <br />ACFD. <br /> <br />Data on response times will be provided to the City Manager <br />within 30 days of the calendar quarter in which the responses occur. <br /> <br />E. Chief Officer Coveraqe <br /> <br />ACFD will provide a Battalion Chief response for all first alarm <br />fire and multiple piece incidents.
