<br />MINUTES Page 11 <br />City of San Leandro City Council, San Leandro Economic Development Agency, San Leandro Parking Authority, San <br />Leandro Public Financing Authority, and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting-June 19, 2006 <br /> <br />Councilmember Nardine asked several questions related to the public auction described in <br />Item 8.D. Mr. Jermanis provided some background information and indicated that a report <br />will be made to the Council on the details of the auction and proceeds received. <br /> <br />Consent Calendar was amended to remove Item 8.1. Item will be considered nnder Item <br />9, Items Removed from Consent Calendar. <br /> <br />8. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br />Consent Calendar items are considered for approval by the City Council with one single <br />action. As described above in Item 7, Amendment of Consent Calendar, the City Council <br />may remove items from the Consent Calendar for purposes of presentation or discussion. <br />Members of the public who have requested to address the Council regarding items remaining <br />on the Consent Calendar may do so for up to 3 minutes per item with a maximum of 5 <br />minutes for all items. Items listed on the Consent Calendar are deemed to have been read by <br />title. <br /> <br />Item 8.1. was removed from the Consent Calendar to Item 9, Items Removed from <br />Consent Calendar. The remaining items on the Consent Calendar were approved by <br />the following vote: <br /> <br />M/S/C Santos and Stephens. Ayes: 6; Noes: 0; Absent: 1 (Young) <br /> <br />A. Resolution No. 2006-061, Resolution Authorizing a First Amended Agreement <br />between the City of San Leandro and the Oro Lorna Sanitary District and Establishment <br />of a Franchise Fee on Refuse Services in the L3 Area (amends the agreement to impose <br />a franchise fee instead of a municipal service fee on refuse services). (1481) <br /> <br />D. Resolution No. 2006-062, Resolution Declaring as Surplus Nineteen (19) Vehicles, <br />Four (4) Pieces of Heavy Equipment and One (1) Boat and Authorizing the Sale <br />Thereof at Public Auction (authorizes the Purchasing Supervisor to proceed with <br />disposal of 24 surplus items at public auction as allowed by Section 1-6-500 of the San <br />Leandro Municipal Code). Public auction is scheduled for June 24, 2006 and August 5, <br />2006. (1556) <br /> <br />E. Resolution No. 2006-063, Resolution Approving the City of San Leandro's Investment <br />Policy for Fiscal Year 2006-07 (provides for annual review and approval of the City's <br />Investment Policy as required by California Government Code Section 53600 et seq., <br />and Section VIII of the San Leandro Investment Policy).
