Cost: $25,000. Funding: General Fund. (1028) The City Council accepted the recommendation by the Recreation and Parks Commission to approve the Fiscal Year 2006-07 Community Benefit Grant Program. Vicky Roy, San Leandro business owner, addressed the City Council, expressing continued concerns regarding the MacArthur Boulevard median, parking issues and the need for a parking study. Ms. Roy thanked the Council for opening up the Lucchesi's driveway, although it resulted in the loss oftwo parking spaces. Bo Johansen, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council regarding condominiums in the RO District. Mr. Johansen commented that the Council should more carefully consider the issues expressed by concerned residents.
