Staff time <br />charged to this project will be limited to 15% of each City's Paratransit <br />Program Coordinator (10% of that cost will be for administrative duties, <br />and 5% for education, outreach and promotional activities). The cost <br />associated with planning and evaluation activities of each City's <br />Paratransit Program Manager, will be covered using sources other than <br />Measure B Gap funds. <br /> <br />III. Do you have a reservation and dispatch plan? <br />D No [8J Yes ~ If yes, please describe: The City's contractor <br />will employ a Dispather/Reservationist who will be on duty <br />during all hours that a service vehicle is on the road. This <br />person will receive ride requests, obtain trip origin and <br />destination locations, requested pick-up times, convey <br />estimated time of arrival, obtain passenger's phone number <br />at pick-up address, determine the number of passengers <br />(including attendants or companions if any), determine if <br />there are any service animals or mobility assistance devices <br />that are used by the passenger, and deploy the appropriate <br />type of vehicle needed. This person also coordinates driver's <br />work schedules, vehicle assignments, distribution of on-board <br />surveys, bulletins and other information, coordination of all <br />vehicles in the fleet, vehicle maintainence pulls, submission of <br />vehicle inspection/repair orders, and the driver sign-in log to <br />ensure that all drivers report to work and pull out for duty at <br />the appropriate time. Should a driver not report to duty on <br />time, the Dispatcher/Reservationist will cover the run by <br />assigning a trained and certified stand-by driver, or by calling <br />in day-off drivers. <br /> <br />C.
