The draft ordinance, which represents <br />the proposed amendments, is also included as an attaclmlent. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION <br /> <br />The proposed new sections discussing Daylight Planes and Maximum Floor Area Ratio (FAR) <br />are intended to provided additional residential sjngle~family and two~family development <br />standards for review of additions, 2-story homes and large homes (in excess of 4,000 square feet <br />in size), and overall development density in the RO Zoning District. The daylight plane addresses <br />potential privacy/shadow impacts on adjacent residences by establishing a maximum building <br />envelope for the site. Establishment of a maximum Door area ratio puts development of the home <br />in context with the square footage of the property.
