Accepted as <br />submitted. <br /> <br />Public Comments on Item 11.8.7.: <br /> <br />Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, addressed the City Council, commenting <br />011 the Mayor's Community Fund and Council suppOli for ballot measures. He <br />suggested the Council adhere to the rules contained in the City Council Handbook <br />for better public participation. <br /> <br />Recommendation for City Council Consideration: <br /> <br />a. Schedule for City Council consideration an amendment to the City Council <br />Handbook to include a new section on the Mayor's Community Fund. <br /> <br />It was the consensus of the City Council to schedule for consideration <br />on a future agenda an amendment to the City Council Handbook to <br />include a new section on the Mayor's Community Fund and to amend <br />Title 1, Chapter 9 of the San Leandro Administrative Code relating to <br />the Gifts, Donations, and Sponsorships Policy. <br /> <br />b. Schedule for City Council consideration an amendment to the City Council <br />Handbook to include guidelines regarding Council support for ballot <br />measures. <br /> <br />By consensus, the City Council accepted this recommendation. <br />
