She <br />expressed concenlS regarding safety and security of elTIployees, traffic impacts and noise <br />levels. <br /> <br />Kate Hart, Reed Smith, addressed the City Council, stating she is representing one of <br />the propeliy owners, Insured Transporters. Ms. Hart stated that Insured Transporters <br />has no objection to the use of eminent domain but does have an issue with the appraisal <br />value and will be obtaining its own appraisal. Ms. Hart commended City staff on their <br />excellent comlTIunication and friendly and open attitude. <br /> <br />. Matter of Appointment of Vice Mayor. <br /> <br />(1315) <br /> <br />Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, addressed the City Council regarding the <br />excellent job being performed by the current Vice Mayor, Bob Glaze. He objected to <br />the wording and position of this item on the agenda. <br /> <br />Vice Mayor Glaze thanked the Council for allowing him to serve as vice mayor. He <br />noted that he has never made the lTIotion to nominate the vice mayor, and there are <br />others on the Council who deserve to be vice mayor and should be considered. He <br />expressed his belief that the vice mayor represents the other members of the Council <br />and should continue to be chosen by the majority of the Council. <br />
