The public is invited to <br />make comments on itelTIS of public interest NOT listed on the Agenda. <br /> <br />Harold Perez, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council, expressing concern <br />regarding City Council candidate Wafaa Aborashed's campaign signs being taken down and <br />business owners who have been requested to remove her signs from their property. Mr. Perez <br />indicated that Tony Santos is responsible. <br /> <br />Wafaa Aborashed, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council, expressing concern <br />regarding a new business, Hugo's Linens, that was erroneously asked to remove her campaign <br />banner. Ms. Aborashed stated that Community Relations Representative Kathy Ornelas <br />called her to apologize for the error; however, she would like an apology to be given to the <br />business owner as well. She cOlnmented that the campaign signs she erected in her <br />neighborhood have been tom down and replaced with Tony Santos' campaign signs. Ms. <br />Aborashed stated that two Mexican restaurants agreed to display her signs but were told that <br />their businesses would suffer unless her signs were removed. <br /> <br />Lou Filipovich, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council, commenting regarding <br />various City election issues. <br />
