Ms. Hari stated p0l1ions of the company's property wi II be <br />affected by the Westgate Parkway Extension and noted the company has minor concems <br />regarding compensation. She commended City staff and Councilmember SaI1tos for their <br />open communication regarding thc project. <br /> <br />Mayor Young notcd the Council received a Jetter faxed earlier on this date from Ms.Hart. <br /> <br />M/S/C Santos and Grant. Matter oC approval of a $6.5 million Promissory Note with the Redevelopment Agency of <br />the City of San Leandro for improvements to the West San Leandro/MacArthur <br />Boulevard Project Area. <br /> <br />City Manager Jell11anis gave an overview of the item and Assistant City Manager Ed <br />Schilling gave a brieC presentation on the matter and the rcasons for bringing the items <br />Corward fix Council and Agency consideration at this time. <br /> <br />Mayor Young expressed concern regarding advancing funds out orthe City's reserves. <br /> <br />· Resolution No. 2003-004, resolution of the City Council of the City of San Leandro <br />approving the execution by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Leandro of <br />a Promissory Note of not to exceed $6,500,000 in connection with the Redevelopment <br />Agency's West San Leandro!MacArthur Boulevard Redevelopment Project Area. <br />( 1485/2888) <br />
