PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Public Healing Conllllt::nts are limited to 5 minuks per person, subject to adjustment by the <br />Mayor. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker eard and submit it <br />to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names <br />and addresses obtained. <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />4. JOINT CITY COUNCIL/SAN LEANDRO REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY PUBLIC <br />HI!:ARINGS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />5. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Public Comments arc limited to 3 minutes per person. When you address the City Council, <br />you should fill out a speaker card and submit it to the City Clerk so the order of speakers <br />may be detenllined and an official record or names and addresses obtained. The public is <br />invited to make comments on Consent Calendar items, or other items of public interest not <br />listed on the Agenda, at this time. <br /> <br />Mike Rawlis, 964 lIutehincs Drive, addressed the City Council, commenting that he has <br />noticed an increased presence of solicitors at all hours of the day and night and suggesting the <br />City impose a curfew and restrict locations where solicitations may be made. Mr. Rawlis <br />noted the traffic lights at Davis St. and San Leandro Boulevard do not allow adequate time for <br />vehicks to tUll1 and seem to be malfunctioning. Mr. Rawlis attended a recent school meeting <br />at which budget isslles were discussed and suggested a process for public comments at these <br />meetings. <br /> <br />Kathy Banks, 964 I-Iutehinlls Drive, addressed the City Council, commenting on the attempt <br />to extend the length of the garage at 964 Hutchings Drive and the problems encountered with <br />the City and contractor. Ms. Banks remarked that she enjoyed attending Council member <br />Santos' recent Town Hall Meeting. <br /> <br />Darlene Evans, 361 Bristol Bouleval'd, addressed the City Council regarding the lack of a <br />play yard for the Farky Pond area, people playing faotballuntil midnight on her street and her <br />hope that the implementation of the Noise Ordinance will solve a persistent noise problem <br />generated by her neighbors. <br />
