Councilmembers noted the area <br />residents are still not feeling a pmi of the process, so somehow the City needs to address <br />their concerns and gain their input. Assistant City Manager Eel Schilling expressed <br />concel11 that staft~ in working with the community prior to getting the Council's approval, <br />may run the risk of "getting ahead of the Council." Mr. Schilling gave examples of <br />situations in which staff anticipates working with community members to gain input. <br />Council engaged in discussion with staff regarding Eden Road. <br /> <br />Councilmember Santos gave a recap of his Town Hall Meeting on January 30. He listed <br />other projects, such as the Walnut Drive infrastructure, improvements at Warden Park and <br />Mu]('ord Park, and improved park I~lcilities at East Shore, which residents would like to <br />see undertaken. Councilmember Santos noted thc area's concel11 with problems at the <br />Transfer Station. He has had onc meeting so far with Waste Management, with another <br />mceting scheduled later this month. <br /> <br />Lou Filipovich, 15376 La Verne Drive, addressed the City Council regarding the tax <br />incrcment, recounting events at the meeting and stating there will be no tax increment <br />generated from the development. Mr. FiJipovich commented on the conduct of Town <br />Hall meetings. <br />
