MINUTES City of San Leandro City Council and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting~April 7, 2003 Page 11 term. The City Council met in closed session and voted unanimously to appoint JaYne Williams as the new City Attorney for San Leandro. 11. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS A. Reports on Intergovermnental Agencies Councilmen1ber Santos reported on the revised Environment ln1pact Report for ferry sites from the Water Transit Authority which he will pass on to staff. There being no interest by the Council in pursuing a ferry system, Councilmember Santos stated he will not attend the next Water Transit Authority meeting. B. Reports on City Council Committees 1. Schedule for consideration by the City Council at the April 21, 2003 meeting an amendment to Section XV of the City of San Leandro Council Member's Handbook to include recommended time limits for City Council Members to observe in making appointments to Boards and COlnmissions. By the consensus of the Council, the item will be scheduled for consideration at the next regular meeting. 12. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS Mayor Young announced the following donations were l11ade on behalf of the Mayor and City Council fron1 the Mayor's Community Fund over the last two months to the following: · The Oakland Zoo for the new Children's Zoo. · Arroyo and San Leandro High Schools for their Sober Grad Nite festivities.
