Reports on Intergovernmental Agencies <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant reported she attended the League of California Cities General <br />Assembly meeting on behalf of the City Council. <br /> <br />Mayor Young reported that grant funds are available from the Alameda County Waste <br />Management Authority Recycle Board's incentive fund. Environmental Services <br />Manager Mike Bakaldin created a reward program for residents who participate in the <br />City's food scrap program. The program was presented to the Recycle Board last week <br />and is being considered for funding. <br /> <br />B. Reports on City Council Committees <br /> <br />1. City and San Leandro Unified School District Liaison Committee meeting of <br />March 13,2003. Accepted as Submitted. <br /> <br />2. City and San Leandro Unified School District Liaison Committee meeting of May <br />8, 2003. Accepted as Submitted. <br /> <br />3. Facilities Committee meeting of May 7,2003. Accepted as Submitted. <br /> <br />4. Finance Committee meeting of May 8, 2003. Accepted as Submitted. <br /> <br />Recommendation for City Council Consideration: <br /> <br />a. Schedule discussion at the next regular City Council meeting of <br />appropriation of $74,000 of General Tax Revenues for Anti-Violence <br />Programs. <br /> <br />By consensus of the Council, this item will be scheduled for <br />consideration on the next City Council Agenda. <br /> <br />b. Schedule discussion at the next regular City Council meeting of increasing <br />Emergency Medical Services Tax within previously authorized parameters. <br />
