<br />Minutes - City of San Leandro City Council Meeting <br />March 4, 2002 <br /> <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, Beth <br />Greene, Planner T, gave the staff report. <br /> <br />The Hearing was then opened to the public. <br /> <br />Lou FiIipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, addressed the City Council indicating the <br />Council should have their discussion regarding the item before asking for public <br />input. He indicated he has a problem with residential use at this site because of tax <br />implications for the buyer/resident. He indicated he wants to make sure this matter <br />goes to the Board of Zoning Adjustments and the Planning Commission for review. <br /> <br />Mr. Wafs, owner of the property, addressed the City Council indicating he is <br />available to answer any questions regarding the rezoning. <br /> <br />There being no further comments from the public, the Public Hearing was closed. <br /> <br />M/S/C Loeffler and Santos. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br /> <br />The following Motion and Ordinance were then introduced: <br /> <br />Minute Order No. 2002-19, Motion Certifying Negative Declaration as <br />Complete and in Compliance with CEQA Requirements for PLN200 1 -00046; <br />555 Estudillo Avenue; Assessor's Parccl Number 77-525-13. (1099/1 009) <br /> <br />The City Council certified the Negative Declaration as complete and in <br />compliance with CEQA requirements for PLN200I-00046; 555 Estudillo <br />Avenue; Assessor's Parcel Number 77-525-13. <br /> <br />M/S/C Loeffler and Glaze. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 2002-05, An Ordinance Rezoning Certain Property Herein <br />Described as to Zoning District and Amending the Zoning Map (PLN200 1- <br />00046) for 555 Estudillo Avenue; Assessor's Parcel Number 77-525-13. <br />- Passed to Print (1099/1009/1024) <br /> <br />M/S/C Loeffler and Glaze. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br /> <br />4. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Public Comments are limited to 3 minutes per person. When you address the City <br />Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it to the City Clerk so the order <br />of speakers may be detemlined and an official record of names and addresses obtained. <br />The public is invited to make comments on Consent Calendar items, or other items of <br />public interest not listed on the Agenda, at this time. <br /> <br />A. Bernard Ashcraft, 14168 Outrigger Drive, addressed the City Council proposing <br />a resolution to eliminate the use of the ternl "minority" in reference to any citizen or <br />ethnic group. <br />
