Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, addressed the City Council asking why <br />this item was not scheduled first so interested pal1ies need not remain at the <br />meeting so late. <br /> <br />The following Resolution was then introduced: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2002-67, Resolution Approving Parcel Map 7831 for 1844 <br />Bancroft Avenue; Assessor's Parccl No. 077-0519-013; Owner and Subdivider: <br />Milton and Patricia Grindley (provides for subdivision of an existing, <br />approximately 9,536 square-foot parcel into two parcels [Area Parcel 1'--4,912 <br />Sq. Report on Closed Session Actions Taken. <br /> <br />The City Attorney reported that the City Council has authorizcd thc scttlcmcnt <br />of the West Bay vs. San Leandro and Harris Elcctric vs. West Bay and the City <br />of San Leandro. The settlement calls for a payment to Harris Electric of <br />$50,000 and no payment to West Bay. Both West Bay and Harris will dismiss <br />all claims against the City. <br /> <br />9. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />A. Mayor Young initiated a discussion regarding the amount of time allotted for public <br />comments and suggested the Rules Committee review the current policy as well as <br />the format of the agenda. <br /> <br />B. Council Member Grant requested a discussion of the proposed ABAG/MTC merger <br />at a future City Council meeting. <br /> <br />C. Council Member Badger commented on the success of Operation Clean Sweep. <br />
