Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br /> <br />Council Member Loeffler asked about the amount of community input in framing <br />the housing concepts. He also expressed concem about the impact of further growth <br />in the area on already overcrowded schools. <br /> <br />Council Member Nardine requested that staff refonnat the public notices that are <br />mailed to residents. She said that at present they arc unattractive and the content is <br />not clear. <br /> <br />The following Resolution was then introduced: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 2002-8, Resolution of the Redevelopment Agency of the City <br />of San Leandro Approving an Amendment to the West San Leandro-MacArthur <br />Boulevard Redevelopment Implementation Plan. (2888) <br /> <br />M/S/C Santos and Nardine. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br /> <br />4. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Public COlllincnts are limited to 3 minutes per person. Whcn you address the City <br />Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it to the City Clerk so the order <br />of speakers may be determined and an official record of names and addresses obtaincd. <br />Thc public is invited to make conunents on Consent Calendar items, or other items of <br />public interest not listed on the Agenda, at this time. <br /> <br />A. Victor Yu, 2232 Aquatic Court, addressed the City Council to clarify that Falun <br />Gong is not a religion. <br /> <br />B. Winnie Ji, 165 Preda Street #14, addresscd the City Council to clariiy that Falun <br />Gong is not a religion. She also expressed her disappointment that her application <br />to proclaim the week of May 13-17,2002, as "FalLIn Gong Week" was declined. <br /> <br />C. Harold Perez, 2052 Vestal Court, addressed the City Council to cornmcnd <br />Council Member Badger on his cleanup program and encouraged Council Members <br />to extend the program to the Timothy Drive/Davis Strcct area. <br />
